Jan II Villa
Because of my job, (I’m a hotel manager in a big city) I’m used to assessments of the quality of the accommodations, and I have to say that Jan II Villa lived up to all of my family’s expectations; Our 4 children, between 9 and 14 years old, and my wife and I dreamed of having a relaxing and calm holiday in Ibiza, in an atmosphere completely immersed in nature, and that’s exactly what we got.
Jan II Villa gets a 10 for high-quality comforts and a 0 for flashiness. Immediately, the 6 of us felt right at home. The large plot of land surrounding the house is also surrounded by a valley and by scenery providing spectacular panoramic views.
The kids thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of running around and riding their bikes through the garden and olive trees, and they had a great time playing in the pool. We had many lunches and dinners outside, and we, their mother and I, also rested a good amount. Lying in the hammocks under the sun, listening to the kids happily splash around, while feeling the far-off sea breeze reach us through the pine and olive trees.
The one-story house has 3 double bedrooms, all with corresponding bathrooms. The simple yet impeccable decorations made the house very homely, and both the living room and kitchen were comfortable, spacious, and perfectly equipped so that each one of us, children and adults, felt very at ease.
The terraces deserve to be mentioned separately. They connect the house with the vegetation of the valley, making us feel almost hand in hand with the Ibizan nature.
And to really soak up the full Mediterranean experience, we went on outings to the breath-taking coves and beaches and visited cute little villages such as the nearby municipality of Santa Eulalia. We also enjoyed the area’s famous gastronomy at restaurants in Ibiza Town and its surroundings, trying to savour this unforgettable holiday to the max.
