One of the most enjoyable summers of my life took place in Be Villa, and it all took place in the purest Ibizan style. Two memorable weeks in this splendid 4-double bedroom and 5-bath villa let us experience an unforgettable time with our group of friends.
It’s located in one of my most favourite spots on the island: the heart of the Ses Salinas Natural Park. There we had the opportunity to see the pink flamingos in the salt lakes in all their splendour. The last house on one of the paths going up the hill is completely integrated into woods overflowing with pine trees, peace, and nature in its purest state.
This house let us indulge in total relaxation, lots of privacy, and fantastic views of the sea and of the island of Formentera, which sometimes looks like you can actually touch it because it’s only 5 km away by boat. One pleasing thing I vividly remember was getting up and having breakfast while watching the sea with the sounds of the birds composing soft melodies in the background. I also remember our fun gatherings on the porch at night, playing music on the nice professional sound equipment or through the AirPort Express that was available to us. When we didn’t fancy listening to music, the breaking of the waves on the beach also made for a nice natural melody.
Behind the entrance gate, a large circular gravel area, fit for several cars, let us see the entire villa from there below. In this area, we had access to the first bedroom with its own entrance to the house. Spacious and with an en-suite bathroom. Going up some stairs, we could enter the living room and the rest of the rooms. All were large with cosy, bright spaces bathed in light from the many large windows distributed on different levels, which integrated the modern villa’s interior with the terraces, garden, and woods to the sea.
The area of the 10 x 5 metre ozone-treated swimming pool is next to the house and, for the main part of the day, remains protected from the wind and sun. In the hammocks on the terrace and garden, all blending into the woods, we also spent good times reading and chatting while the others enjoyed having a swim.
Honestly, it felt like the villa didn’t lack even the smallest detail. It’s location allowed us to be close to the best beaches, like the neighbouring one Es Cavallet (250 m away); to Ibiza Town, where we would leave to go boating; and to the best beach clubs and restaurants, such as El Chiringuito, where we walked down to eat world-class paellas.
All moments were memorable in Be Villa.
